Observer's Notes (annotated):
Thumbs up to signal readiness to contribute is an established norm in the classroom.
Additionally, the space was not well-organized for the tools that I had incorporated into my lesson plan.
I agree that I should have modeled more extensively.
I also agree that more moderate pacing would have strengthened the lesson.

I had prepared to display the chart in a more confined space.
I really like this suggestion. Upon reflection, it may have helped to scaffold the tasks that followed.
I agree. Unfortunately, I felt pressed for time.

While I agree that a more moderate pace would have strengthened the lesson, I do not agree that 3/4 students were unengaged.
This was largely an oversight, due to a lack of time and an awkward workspace.
